Perhaps you are wondering, what is a stixel? Simply put, it is a combination of the words stitches and pixels, tools that I use to create my designs.
For years, I have been creating with fabric and was always disappointed the fabric stores did not have the exact surface pattern design that I saw so clearly in my head. Now, there are the tools and technologies to create my own designs and get them printed. I am thrilled to have this new opportunity!

Welcome! My name is Beverley Hill and I am so glad you are here! I developed Stixel Studios after working professionally for three decades in other design fields. I have designed airplanes and architecture and lighting systems. Now, I am so excited to be working in surface pattern design industry.
I love looking artistically at the wonders of the world through the eyes of a scientist and explorer. I have developed patterns of tiny animals seen through the ‘eyes’ of scanning electron microscopes and have examined the invisible sources of nature for children’s products.
I have wandered the world and developed patterns based on the wonders I have seen around the globe for fashion and housewares.
I am so excited to take these interests and skills further into the market.
